Brian -

If you can't find a place to do it for you, it's worth it to remount the 
slides yourself.  A little manual slide mounter is available from Gepe and 
it takes about 4 seconds to mount a slide.  You can get all kinds of mounts 
- - ones that hold the film really flat, ones that show the film edges, ones 
that crop, different colors for different subjects, etc.

I've never had a slide jam in the scanner with a Gepe mount.
