There's always the possibility that a guy might have placed an item for sale
at an extremely high price, knowing it would not sell, so he can tell his
'significant other,' "See, I am trying to sell off some of this stuff, but
no one wants to buy it."
Of course, I would never be guilty of such an act, but some people might.
