Hi Steve,

The 28mm is truly an amazing lens. A couple of years ago Erwin explained to me
over dinner in Amsterdam that one of the acid tests of a lens is how it renders
light sources, and this one certainly passes! I like the DC cityscape the best
of the two shots.

The "gang of 5" reminds me of the scene at the Photokina dinner, when everyone
puts her or his Leica on the table for a group shot. 2002 is another Photokina
year, and I look forward to renewing old LUG friendships and making new ones at
Cologne this fall.

And congratulations on completing the year and thanks for your pictures and for
the feedback you give to others.
