Swiss banks do not accept deposits smaller that $5 million? At least, until recently, a Swiss bank account by a US customer was secret and sacrosanct. The Swiss have buckled to US pressure to reveal account traffic to FBI and IRS. It is still safe from scrutiny for individuals of most other nations to hide money - and it is not necessary to have millions. If I had any to stash, my choice would be a Swiss bank.
