The Swiss banks are hardly amongst the most customer -friendly and are far from innovative. ( they are amongst the biggest thugs in the world and have a long history of involvement with money laundering and unethical practices ) . They NEVER have had peronal checking accounts because they think it costs too much. They are only intersted un customers who have over $5 million to deposit and they will be fleeced as far as possible. Product liability legislation is amongst the poorest world-wide.If you purchase an item using a credit card issued by a US or UK bank you automatically have a variety of rights and considerable protection. Such protection is unknown in Switzerland. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Austin Franklin" <darkroom@ix.netcom.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Monday, December 24, 2001 3:33 PM Subject: RE: [Leica] OT: brad's horrid adventure with paypal > Hi Nathan, > > How much do you get charged for this capability?
