It is really mint, with no bright marks, perfect vulcanite, and no
scratches around the tripod mount. I have considered selling both to get
M6's, but it is nice to own a piece of history in such good condition.

Every used M6 I have ever seen looks like it's been to hell and back.

A really mint M3 is a rare commodity, and mine is almost mint, with just
a couple of barely perceptable bright marks. I still use it, and often.
I'm just VERY careful with it. On the other hand, my M6 is maybe ten
years old, and it's gotten pretty beat up.
