Up to 40,000 images taken by Jacques Lowe – who died this May – are thought to have been destroyed in the 11 September attack. Lowe's daughter Thomasina says her father kept the collection – thought to be worth up to £1.5m – at a vault at the JP Morgan Chase Manhattan Bank in a building close to the Center's twin towers. Thomasina Lowe also revealed that the collection was not insured. * * * Emanuel Lowi Montreal - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
