Well I don't know about being duped :) but I've have a Nikon LSIV and you NEED the ICE. This damn scanner shows spots and lines that I cannot see with a loupe!!??? And thatıs off fresh dip & dunk processed film!! That being said I would LOVE to try an older Polaroid Sprintscan 4000. Not to mention the Nikons are hard on the shadow area Grrr.
