Parliament Hill is just down the street, and no trip is complete without etc... For camera stores, there are two pro shops - Ginn Photo and Focus Center. The latter is the most interesting, friendliest and best stocked. The former has a better lab. The other place to go is Camera Exchange II on Bank st. near the Queensway (the main east-west artery). They are used gear only, and always have a ton of cool chazerai on display - even some Leica and an old Contax II last time I was in. All three stores are on Bank St - Focus Center is closest to downtown, Ginn is about 8 blocks down toward the Queensway, and CEXII is three blocks further on. It will be interesting to hear your reaction the museum. they tent to put on a lot of "art" shows - the sort that get bashed here with great regularity. I remember one that was all photos of three sticks stuck in sand in different arrangements, with their shadows adding additional linear elements. The prints were really big, though...
