Hi Julian,
I've had my 4,000 for a day now and so far, so good! Printed out a Provia
slide and it looks fine. Of course, much to learn matching my monitor to
PhotoShop to the printer (Epson 740, planning on a 2000).
I'm using a fast scsi card with no problems. Silverfast software is
excellent.
The unit ships with both a slide carrier and negative carrier. However I
noticed some vendors, in trying to have a seemingly lower price, made them
add-ons. Depends on your vendor.
Have fun!
John Kraus
