At a time when a bottle of B&B scotch cost $6 in N. America, he was selling it for $.60, and Haig Pinch for $.75. Chivas Regal was $.90. Selection was limited, but the price was right. Fortunately my alcohol tolerance was fairly high at the time, as I had been in training in Munich for most of a year. - -- * Henning J.
