Mark and guys and gals, sorry that I didn't search the archives first, but,
right now, my internet connection is down. Between you and the hug, this is
my only connection to the new world.
So Mark, I guess you had one of those Tele-Elmarits that had rear element
fogging. How about any users experiences with clean ones?
BTW, I have seen that rangefinder alignment tool. It is an offset
screwdriver, because the adjustment point isn't linearly placed inside the
hole. Earlier M's can be adjusted easily with a screwdriver, as can the
complete rangefinder without dissassembling the body at all. Infinity, 10
meter and one meter adjustments are on the rangefinder cam assembly and arm.
I don't know why they made this adjustment more difficult on an M6, since it
is occasionally going out of whack.
I've got to teach a class showing child welfare workers how to use digital
ccameras for documentation of child abuse, neglect, etc. I have done this
type of photography for the first 20 years of my career, until these digital
cameras came along, allowing immediacy to take its proper place. Any
suggestions, ideas?
TIA,
Jimbo
