Sounds logical to me.
M system may not be able to be adapted, but what about the Leica R system
doing what the Contax is setting out to do?
Even a freshly formulated specialised wide angle lens to cater for that
purpose would still be acceptable to a Leicaphile while the rest of the lens
could still be used.
