I take it you are looking for a user, and if so, why not contact Youxin Ye at (I think this is right) wye7@yahoo,com I bought a IIIc from him, one that he had reworked. He does this- takes old ugly pitted chrome IIIcs, has the chrome chemically removed, repaints the tops and bottoms, does a CLA, replaces curtains, and even will replace the beamsplitters with new material, and then sells them for what is a lot less than trying to get a 'pig in a poke' and having it fixed up- I paid $450 for mine and used if for a couple of years before moving to the IIIf as my main LTM camera. He electronically adjusts the shutter, and mine worked like a charm- and the fellow I sold it too was tickled pink when he got it. The black paint is really retro-looking, and if you are not looking for a collector item but a user, this is the way to go! Slap an Elmar on that puppy, and you are set! Dan ( Good hunting!)
