[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]MArtin, et al- Well, I got a nice Jupiter-12, a '78 model, and I was impressed with the performance, it seemed on a par with my Summaron which I like a lot, but it is not a retro focus design, so with the large 'tail-end' you have to be careful mounting or dismounting so as not to mar the black anti reflection coating on the edge of the element that stick out the back!! I think that messing that up could lead to some serious flare or loss of contrast. The upside is that for about $100 I got a nice 35mm lens, AND an auxillary viewfinder!!
