Martin You suffered from "Russian Roulette". The original 2.8/3.5cm Biogon was, in fact, designed for color film, the first of Ludwig Bertele's formulations to be so figured. A properly made Jupiter-12 will produce superb images either in B&W or in color; one especially well made will certainly equal the 2.8/35 Summaron.
