First let me thank those who responded with all the helpful information
about alterrnative lenses for the M3 that has fallen into my hands - yes, it
was a yard sale :^)

Included in the bag was an original flash unit - fanfold, and connector.
I am now wondering if the Leica SF-20 will work on an M3. Probably not, is
my guess.
Any suggestions for other arrangments?

I appreciate your tolerance for these basic newbie questions.
