Goodness. This stuff is only for film.  One hopes that members of 
the LUG are astute enough not to try it on a lens.  That's what 
Clearsight is for.

However, I do find it a good cleaner for pressure plate.  It removes 
any residue left from film and provides a very light lubrication.
