What kink? Are you referring, perhaps, to the point where the leader
becomes full width? Perhaps there is a sharp corner where the leader
ends and the cure might be just to round it carefully with scissors.
I don't think the film is manufactured with a built-in kink :-)

In my estimation, there are few LUGers who have less manual dexterity than a
dog or are imbeciles. The film loading question keeps coming up because
there is a recurring film loading problem among intelligent, agile LUGers as
they use their camera. Name calling, general eye rolling and snide,
arrogant comments will not make their problem go away.

IME, KR64 and Tri-X jams a lot in my M6TTL as the kink in the film leader
refuses to move past the film frame opening. Does that make me an imbecile
or a dog? It shouldn't, since Velvia and Delta100 never jam in my camera.
What's the real problem? I don't know, but a helpful hint from a fellow
LUGer got me to make the leader longer and the "problem" films no longer
jam.
