Hi Roy,

The library pictures all look too soft, I do not know if it is the
scanning, or camera shake. The best one of the lot is:

I like the juxtaposition of the owl's and the teacher's face. I would
crop away the adult in the background, even if it meant losing the owl's
tail.

Your dog pix suffer from the sharpness problem too, as do the LUG shots.
I am pretty sure that there some scanning issue at play here.
