It's a spot meter with a simple match needle interface. The size and balance is perfect and the shutter speed dial is much easier to use that the little one on the classic M6. I suggest you find a shop that has one and play around with it. The only time I really prefer the M6 is if I need to travel light then the M6 fits nicely into a waist pack.
