A friend who is moving out of town gave me an old projection screen he
had--one that had been stashed in his basement since the 70's.

What's curious about this screen is that it isn't white: it's silver.  It
has a kind of gray reflective surface.

Anyone project slides on a screen like this?  I'm wondering why they ever
made them this way; seems a bit weird to me (or is it interesting?).
