Not easy to do always! But generally recognizable. What I do usually comment on is more in line with Steve's remarks above, the emotional content of the picture. Does it evoke a feeling? Raise a question? Provoke me to supply an answer to the question? These subjective things are important to a successful photo as much as the somewhat more objective mechanical things. Put it all together and you have something! Henry
