That's not what I see on the web site:

Carbon 1227, 3 sect, height 163cm, weight 1.5Kg, load 8Kg

Carbon 1228, 4 sect, height 158cm, weight 1.5Kg, load 8Kg

The 3 and 4 section aluminum closest equivalents are about 10cm shorter,
weigh 2.2Kg and 2.1Kg, and support a load of 6Kg.

So, the Carbon models are 32% and 29% lighter, plus support 33% greater
maximum load. However, it is still a significant price jump.
