RF patch flare is indeed a problem with the M6 - both of mine (0.72 and 0.58) suffer from it. The "quick fix" solution is so simple, however, that the best way to deal with it seems to be Ted's method: change position and keep shooting. Ironically, some folk feel the best way to deal with RF flare (and other deficiencies of Leica gear) is to complain about it ceaselessly here on the Lug. The RF flare wars we've had here on the Lug in the past have all proven inconclusive; if I recall, no real explanation for it was ever given, and apparently no mechanical remedy exists. It would thus behoove us to: "deal with it and move on." Guy
