I'm sorry, this is the LUG list. We do not allow
disagreement here :-)

Agreed - but that is the same regardless of mount
system. (BTW - news photogs leave all the caps off -
scandal!)

Accepted. Others do. Even with two bodies (I get
confused by more than two, and suffer an out-of-bodies
experience) and, say a 24 on one and a 75 or 90 on the
other, you will find news situations where you very
quickly need another lens to make the shot.

I would certainly agree that in many cases, it makes
no difference, but the original question was why Leica
made the change in the first place, and I believe it
was directly related to the attraction of bayonet
mount speed to photojournalists.
