i've been looking at a first year of production m3 that's in beautiful 
condition.

it's expensive, but i've never had any m camera in my hand as quiet as this
one.  the release of the shutter is like plunging into butter.

i don't know the history of this camera, so i don't know if it was serviced
or if it's always been this way.

i've heard of leica service people who are adept at using certian lubricants
and oils to make m cameras very, very quiet.

can anyone confirm this?

can anybody recommend any such service person?
