It's good to know there are ways of getting around seeming obstacles. regards, Jem - -----Original Message----- From: Godfrey DiGiorgi [SMTP:ramarren@bayarea.net] Sent: 05 March 2001 19:07 I made many stop-action animations of computer generated image sequences with just such a setup many years ago while I was at NASA/JPL. I and my colleagues put together an interface like this and added the additional logic so that we could drive it from the computer's serial port. The batch processing file would create the image, display it on the graphics monitor, trip the camera and advance to the next frame, and then proceed to cycle to the next frame in the sequence. We used a Bolex H16Rex as our taking camera, which like the Leica had a purely mechanically tripped shutter mechanism. Godfrey
