Not really.  Daimler bought out Chrysler lock, stock and barrel.  See Bill
Vlassic and Bradley A. Stertz's excellent book, "Taken for a Ride: How
Daimler-Benz drove off with Chrysler" for fascinating story of this
so-called "merger."
