Tim,

They do not specify that glasses incorporating lanthanum oxide are used for this lens; they only say that glasses of extra-low
dispersion are used to achieve the "apo" quality. At 260g in weight and shortest focusing distance at 1 m, it is a handy lens to use. I didn't actually buy one, given the opportunity, because I've already had three Leica 90mm lenses in M mount (APO Summicron, Elmarit-M, and collapsible Elmar), which makes the addition of this Voigtlander lens superfluous, at least on monetary terms.
