 It is a little wheel, or was on the G1, but it is really an adjustment
for an autofocus system....you are not "focusing" the lens, where you
were with the Contax and Nikon S series...you are playing with an
electronic rangefinder...it simply is NOT manual focus...

But again, it's a really nice camera that can produce wonderful
results...and its lenses are every bit as good as their Leica
equivalents....
