as the current owner of john's skinny tele-elmarit, i must say i've not yet 
experienced the flare
problems of which john speaks......
i'm thrilled to own it.  :-)
for those flare-prone shots, though, i am glad to have a couple friends 
close by who own the current 90/2.8 elmarit-m.

(never hurts to have options!)
