I just found a DS a couple weeks ago. It was bought new in West Berlin in
1954, number 700721, so probably production from the first month or two of
the then brand new M3. There really is something special about the smooth
winder stroke, and the shutter is the most quiet I have ever heard on an M.
The collapsible Summicron 50 has a serial number from 1954, so it is really
a sweet set-up, all in close to mint- condition.

Don't worry, Jeff, I won't be converting it to a SingleStroke!
