What I would like to see Leica do on the M6 black paint cameras is to make

black paint an option other than as anniversary model.

My best is they DO just that...but who knows when. I would also like to see 
it as a finish for all lenses and my customers echo that wish!

What I really wish for (late at night when no Leica's are around) is a black 
M6J!!! ;-> Now that would be my every day camera if they would make it so I 
could afford it.


In the meantime, really, the LHSA model is darn close to what you are 
speaking of if you don't mind the LHSA logo on it. According to Bill, the 
LHSA really didn't do it to make any money...just to do a neat thing for the 
club. At this price I believe that.

OTOH, I have seen the ICS camera sell on ebay for $6k+...not bad for a coat 
of paint!
