Right on, Nathan, right on.

Kodak, from what I have gathered over the years, is
strapped with high overhead costs, unions, etc. Tough
to remain competitive with the proverbial albatross
around your neck, I suppose.

Someone once mentioned that Kodak periodically drops
the 3 lowest selling products from it's line. This
could be good or bad, depending on.... What if Kodak
marketing blew it and the product didn't sell but it
was a good product? What if Kodak marketing confused
the customers with obtuse film code designations? What
if kodak changed film formulas over time but didn't
tell anyone? What if Kodak hung too much of it's hope
on digital?
