Hi Dan - there are already a handful of major US peanut butter makers producing the stuff here in China! McDonalds and KFC have had their largest and most profitable single branches in the world in Beijing for almost a decade and now Starbucks is spreading rapidly through the major cities and most of the customers are locals rather than homesick Westerners. I would like to see the successful implementation of a genuine Chinese fast food chain in China and beyond: they have the food but not yet the ability to deliver it as efficiently, consistently and presentably as McDonalds as a number of failed attempts have shown. In the meantime I know where to get a fabulous Sichuan meal and a gallon of beer for about the price of a Big Mac Meal! Hmm, Leica content: one of the reasons I like Leica Ms over other bulkier and heavier cameras is that I can loop the neckstraps over my knees while I dine. This is good for security and keeps them off the usually filthy floors of provincial restuarants in this country.
