In that part of the world, at that time of the year, the relevant gastronomic recommendation would involve details on how to avoid eating too much of all those good things. I'm afraid I'm unable to give such recommendations. After all, I am only human. Otherwise, open the door to the eating places: does it smell nice in there, do the people eating there look nice, happy and satisfied, do you fell comfortable there? If yes, then have meal there. Look at what the people around you are eating, if it looks nice ask them if what it is and if it is good and then order the same. If you ask a local, then you will probably get the speciality of that particular restaurant at that time of the year. One of the things email is not quite so good at. I am sure you will enjoy your stay and your food. Let us know - -- Christer Almqvist D-20255 Hamburg, Germany and/or F-50590 Regnéville-sur-Mer, France
