Subject: [Leica] Leica in the Movies - another sighting

"Never Cry Wolf", 1980 something, with Charles Martin Smith (mostly), Brian
Denehy and others.

The Charles Martin Smith character (a biologist) is in Arctic northern
Canada to study wolves. In one scene he is using a screwmount Leica and
Visoflex to photograph small plants. Then inexplicably, he sees, in the
viewfinder, the magnified shoe of another person standing approx a quarter
mile away.

Suggested off-topic threads 8^)

1. Wolves, pro and con

2. The location of Northern Canada vis a vis Navy Pier

3. Periscopes (he actually uses one to view the wolves from a concealed
position)

Have a great weekend.
