Haute côture does not pay for itself, but is a marketing exercise for the licensing business: perfumes, jeans etc.. At a smaller scale Leica is already on the trip with their point and shoot cameras. Soon we will see Leica sunglasses, besides Bugatti, Jaguar. If that helps to subsidise the M and R, who cares? Hans-Peter
