You can still find some graded papers in the stores---Agfa Insignia, for
example, is still available, and it is essentially Agfa Record Rapid
(without the cadmium, removed due to an EC directive). But to save money
(and because I think the current generation of VC fiber-base papers is very
good), I switched to Agfa's Multicontrast Classic a couple of years ago.
Also, Mark Rabiner and others on the list are proponents of split-filter
printing using VC papers, but I admit I'm still in the training-wheel stage
of that technique.
