If I wanted to become one of those people trained in the art, I would apprentice myself to someone who knows the art rather than try and teach myself through experience and on-line advice only. Disassembling and reassembling precision photographic equipment only faintly resembles the same activities with a '74(?) Continental. By the way, I hope to hook a ride in the Long Boat the next time your near Boston.
