I walked the Viking Way a few years back, 149 miles from the Humber Bridge,
down to the Witham opposite Washingborough, into Lincoln before strolling
on to Oakham in Rutland.
It reminded me of a lovely TV film that was made years back which was
called 'A Sense of Place: The Fens', 60 minutes of pictures and sounds, no
dialogue (or even monologue ) at all. I'll see if I can dub you a copy off
my (PAL) VHS - you can figure out how to play it in Toronto I'm sure.

regards,
Jem

My family are there... sister in Washingborough and ma in Navenby... pa
over
towards the Wolds... brother in Lincoln... and I was born in Lincoln.

I've never thought of it as remotely boring... spooky, yes, boring, no. I
have a script which I hope will go into production next year which uses it
as a backdrop and everyone comments that the landscape is like a character.
