I'm sorry if this has been mentioned here already, but I just read about it
yesterday. The Aug. 12 issue of the UK Amateur Photographer has an article
with pictures about the new Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 lens set to be launched
this fall (page 8, "ThisWeek)". Other info: all metal barrel available in
silver + black, wt = 162 gm. Optics based on an aspherical design (10
elements/8 groups), min focus to 0.3m and it will probably ship with a x0.36
finder. At  a field coverage of 121 degrees, Cosina claims the lens has the
widest coverage amongst all 35mm optics in the world - with the exception of
fisheye lenses. No firm figure on the cost, but the article estimates around
650 GBP.
