MY FIRST TEN YEARS WITH THE LEICA. NY: B. Westermann Co., (1935) . First English trans. ed. Dr Wolff was with Leica from the early days, and this book shows the entire range of possibilities the 35 mm camera opened up, portraits, landscapes, closeup, scientific, medical, candids, abstract, journalism and sports. We take all of this for granted today, but it must have been exciting to explore what the Leica system could do, and made possible. The book can be found on eBay, and on antique book dealers internet sites, usually for $30-50, not much more than a new coffee table book costs. Looking at all the types of photography Wolff experimented with is very interesting, and he has some very good photographs throughout. Noel Charchuk http://telusplanet.net/public/nhcharch
