Damn, Sal, a useful suggestion:

1 -

2 - Requiem - For providing a wide assortment of stunning, often disturbing
work by many of the greats, both well known - Burrows, Capa, etc. - and
unknown outside of limited photos circles - Huet. A magnificient volume.

3 - Doing Documentary Work - By Robert Coles. Oxford U. Press and NY Public
Library. Compliation of a lecture series this documentarian and child
psychiatrist gave at the NY Public Library a couple of years ago. Provides
much food for thought about what documentary photograpy, and writing,is
really all about, or should be about. Includes lengthly discussions of,
among others, the work of D. Lange. Very thought provoking.
