In the early 70s I saw a modified Nikon F2 with a 10 fps motor drive,
priced at around $4,000 CDN (and this was a time when the Canadian dollar
was actually worth something).  Sounded like a machine gun when it operated.  

But in 1968, I'm not sure what the F could do.
