This is a common fear spread by banks and visa/master card. If somebody takes my credit card number and starts to make purchases, who pays? The merchants. When I get my bill, I simply call up visa/mc and make a charge back. I am only liable if my card is physically stolen and somebody has forged my signature--and then only up to $50. If somebody steals my numbers, I am not liable at all. This applies in the United States, anyway. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send online invitations with Yahoo!
