EMO is a distinguished company in their own right, and I have been honoured
to use their wares on several occasions. They might well manufacture the
Leica loupe -- note their location, fairly close to Solms.

I use the EMO Macromax loupe, and it is both optically and mechanically
excellent. Except for a couple of mechanical differences (the Leica loupe
offers interchangeable skirts while the EMO does not), it does look pretty
much like the Leica loupe. I strongly suspect they are really the same
thing in different clothing. Though when I bought my EMO several years ago
it cost about half of what the Lecia loupe currently retails for (in the
U.S.).
