I believe there's some law about needing to use a magazine name in order
to retain the rights to it. I think it has to publish once per year. So
I don't think it will be the absolute end of LIFE as we know it; there
will probably still be a special issue once a year, so
Time-Warner-Whateverthehellitisnow can retain the rights to the LIFE
name.
