Subject: [Leica] Re: 35/1.4 ASPH hood

I have had this lens for nearly two years. It is my most used lens. I
ALWAYS use it with the locking hood, which has proven to be extremely
simple and reliable. Basically, I couldn't imagine an easier setup. Do I
have something different than what you saw?

Just follow the little arrows...

Slip on hood, turn ring to lock.

Turn ring to unlock, slip off hood.

While hood is on camera, use rubber hood cap when not photographing.

Store hood with rubber cap in place.

And Bob's your uncle!

Jim
